Program Details
This certificate program provides a comprehensive understanding of the skills necessary for successful employment in the Fire Service industry. This program is designed to meet the needs of students interested in seeking entry-level firefighting positions by completing a California State Fire Training Accredited Region Training Fire Academy. Fire Academy Certificate of Achievement Certification includes the completion of FIRE 0100 and FIRE 0100A. Co-requisites for FIRE 100 include FIRE 0001 and HSCI 0002 (Fire Protection Organization & Emergency Medical Technician). Career opportunities include Seasonal Firefighter, Intern Firefighter, Volunteer Firefighter, and Career Firefighter.
